Ext2.Net Domain for Sale |
|
Rob Kennedy, the founder of the Ext2 online magazine, and Content Manager for the LinSightarchive.org network, is putting up the domain ext2.net for auction on Ebay.
The Ext2 magazine began as a monthly in October of 1998. Since then, it was sold to Tucows with Kennedy continuing his work at the site. Since then, Kennedy left Tucows for Atipa, the sponsors of LinSight, and Ext2 is now known as Tucows Linux Newsarchive.org.
Kennedy managed to retain the ext2.net domain, and has decided to put it up for sale. "I'd like to sell the Ext2.net domain name to a party that will do something useful with it," he says. "I feel that it's a good strong name for a Linux site, and would like to see what happened with linux.com/net/org happen to this domain."
The auction for the domain namearchive.org ends Tuesday, June 6, at 6:44pm Pacific time. As of this writing, the current bid is $5.50.
