One of many tutorials that will be given by Linux.com Security, Kurt Seifried of SecurityPortal.comarchive.org will be giving a tutorial on basic Linux security techniques, with pointers to some more advanced topics on Tuesday, March 14 at 7pm Pacific, 10pm Eastern. The tutorial will take place on the irc.linux.com (also irc.openprojects.net) IRC server in the room #auditorium. If your Linux box is on a cablemodem or xDSL you will probably be surprised to learn how easy it is to secure your machine. This will be followed by a question and answer session, so if you have any Linux security questions make sure you attend.
