US Trade Commission to revisit online privacyThe US FTC (Federal Trade Commission) has established a committee that will decide whether consumers should be allowed access to the information security "practices" employed by many websites. This includes allowing consumers access to purchasing habits and whether a fee may be charged for access. It seems as if the FTC is trying to dabble into what many e-commerce websites have kept there only leverage over consumers.
