LWN's 1999 Linux Timeline

For those of you new to Linux, and would like to learn about the happenings of Linux in the past year, LWN has a nice timeline showing Linux's growth in the past year. Companies which swore open-source was not their thing have changed their minds. Some highlights: Dell shipping a version of Linux with their boxes, and the release of the 2.2 kernel. May 2000 prove to be an even better year for Linux!
