Setting up PPP with Linux

Connecting to the Internet via PPP can be difficult for some new users. This article, featured in the Chicago Tribune, explains how to use the scripts that are included with the pppd package. Although it mentions it briefly, unfortunately it does not discuss PAP or CHAP dialing.
