Aureal Vortex strikes againAureal Vortex 1.0.5 is a Linux driver for PCI Cards based on the previous Aureal Vortex chipsets. It is also based on other OEM cards that are, in turn, based on chipsets such as the Diamond MX300 and the Turtle Beach Montego. It fixes KDE sound system support as well as various other misbehaviors. In addition, it features OSS compatibility and full duplex PCM playback and record on multiple channels. Offers mixer, joystick, and game support as well as MIDI synthesis through software midi synth.
