NVIDIA, SGI, and VA Linux System Combine Their EffortsNVIDIA, SGI, and VA Linux have just announced that they are coming out with the a new OpenGL graphics system for Linux. Now developers can utilized for the first time, professional high-performance graphic workstation, under Linux. This new system will come equippted with the new GeForce 256 3D graphics processor provided by NVIDIA, and 2D graphics and multi-monitor work provided by VA Linux Systems. In addition the system will OpenGl 1.2 allowing applications to uses the OpenGl graphic API. We will all have a chance to see the benefits of this collaboration at the LinuxWorld conference this February 2-4 2000, in New York City.
