Second Edition of GIMP User Manual

The Second Edition of the user manual for the GNU Image Manipulation Program is now available.

We are proud to present the second editon of the Gimp User's Manual. The second edition is also published as a paperback by Coriolis. The new version is very much improved, in fact, we have more or less rewritten the entire book. Here are some highlights from the ChangeLog:

  1. Several new in-depth chapters, covering important aspects like Scanning (SANE), Drawing tablets, Migration from PhotoShop etc.
  2. Nearly 100% of the plugins have been covered, all plugin information has also been updated and will provide essential new information.
  3. The book now comprises nearly 1000 pages, and the changes are simply too numerous to fit into this small changelog ;-).
