Weekly Linux Security Digest 2000/08/07 to 2000/08/13

[SP] Recent weeks have not been kind to Linux, Netscape, NFS, Perl, ntop, mopd, diskcheck, usermode and Mailman (among others). All have been found to contain vulnerabilities - not all vendors are affected, but many are. The Perl bug is especially nasty since almost everyone on the planet running Linux has Perl installed.
