gnuplot in Red Hat Linux 6.2 has problems with editing at the command line.
2. Relevant releases/architectures:
Red Hat Linux 6.2 - i386 alpha sparc
3. Problem description:
gnuplot was inadvertently built without readline support for Red Hat Linux 6.2. The readline library provides command line completion for filenames, shell-style editing, and command history. The problem has been corrected by properly linking gnuplot against the readline library.
4. Solution:
For each RPM for your particular architecture, run:
rpm -Fvh [filename]
where filename is the name of the RPM.
