Linux IDS Project releases new version of their kernel extension
The free Linux intrusion detection system project releases LIDS 0.9 pre2. LIDS basically is a kernel patch with big security enhancements. Even root is restricted if you want. It has features like protecting raw disks and IO ports or even preventing files from being changed.
