First Linux-based intrusion detection appliance by Axent announced
[NA] The first Linux-based intrusion detection system has been announced by Axent Technologies, a security solution provider. It is based on Cobalts RAQ 3 server appliance and RedHat Linux combined with Axents NetProwler software. This project aims to offer easy administration as well as protection and security clutched with a low cost high performance operating system to a reasonable prize for small and mid-size business.
