PentaSafe Announces VigilEnt Security Agent for Linux

Pantasafe has announced a new Security Administration suite for one or more Linux machines. Pentasafe has also joined the Independent Software Vendor Partner Program of Red Hat(R), Inc.This is the first step in their plan to offer audit and security managment for the enterprise.

The VigilEnt Security Agent for Linux is a suite of intelligent services residing on one or more Linux machines in a given domain. The agents gather requested information from targeted hosts to create comprehensive and interactive reports on the security status of each Linux system. If a weakness is found, immediate action can be taken that is completely automated to correct the problem across all the Linux machines.
