GLAME...Could It Be The Next Soundforge?

GLAME stands for GNU/Linux Audio Mechanics. It intends to be the GIMP of audio for Linux. Currently, the project is in very early development stages, and only the very basic skeleton components of GLAME are done and/or have been worked on.
