Mp3blaster is an interactive text-based program that plays several audio files (currently mp3, wav, and sid). It is one of the very few mp3 players for the text console that allows full interactive control during playback. One of its key features is the ability to compose a very flexible playlist. The current version plays most mp3 formats and has full mixer support built-in. It also runs out-of-the-box on FreeBSD/OpenBSD and perhaps others. Changes: Cosmetic fixes, keypresses don't have delay in response anymore, threading support for FreeBSD, refresh (ctrl+l), and the mp3tag ID3-util displays more info and has simple MySQL support.
