Year 2000 Virus- Internet Ready?
Will virus writers in the year 2000 finally make their viruses Internet Ready? This article discusses how virus writers will finally write viruses that will be using the Internet to travel instead of passing through e-mails or files. The Melissa and ExploreZip viruses have this capability, but will more come? Symantec and IBM are teaming up to make a vaccine called the Digital Immune System, which will allow System Administrators to recognize possible malicious code on their system and then send them to the back to centralized servers to be analyzed.
