The desktops less travelled.
If you've installed a recent linux distribution, you'll notice that the desktops you see are either Gnome or KDE. They both take signficant amounts of memory, and if you're one of those with an old 486/pentium that you just want to surf the web with, consider these "alternative" desktops that will make your old box fly.
