Linuxcare and Informix Corporation Unite to Provide Comprehensive Technical Support
Linuxcare, Inc. today announced two strategic agreements with Informix(R) Corporation, the technology leader in the software infrastructure for the i.Economy.
With these agreements, Informix expands its commitment in the Open Source software environment by partnering with Linuxcare to deliver industry-leading, advanced technical support.
Linuxcare will provide Informix software engineers with 24X7, Level 3 technical support services to address customers' most challenging support issues. Level 3 issues require in-depth knowledge of the Linux and Open Source software environment and may involve comprehensive source-code changes. In addition, a Cooperative Technical Support Agreement provides for close cooperation between the two companies and assures prompt and concise resolution to joint Linuxcare and Informix customers' questions and concerns.
