There are many varients of Data Base programs to use in Linux: mySQL, mSQL, PostgreSQL, Orcale, and DB2 to name the top ones. This article will only compare mySQL, mSQL, and PostreSQL since their license costs are free to null. For more information about IBM's DB2, please refer to: IBM's software site.
