Xi Graphics Offers a New 3D Accelerated-X Package
Xi Graphics now offers an X-server with hardware accelerated 3D-graphics for Linux. This new server supports over 30 cards from prominent manufacturers such as 3DLabs, ATI, Diamond Multimedia and Matrox, and is compatible with OpenGL 1.1.1. The product comes in two versions: The Entertainment edition (~$100) is addressed to play developers and end-users; the Professional edition (~$250) contains additional functions, which support data visualization, 3D-Modeling and CAM/CAD.
