Linux Writers and Publishers BOF

This informal BOF (Birds-of-a-Feather) session has been announced for the Atlanta Linux Showcase. It will be held on Thursday, October 14.

An informal Birds-of-a-Feather (BOF) session, titled "Linux Writers and Publishers BOF," is being planned by Michael J. Hammel, author of The Artist's Guide to the GIMP and writer for Linux Journal. The session is intended to bring together writers and publishers from throughout the Linux and Free Software community in an informal atmosphere.

Representatives from Linux Magazine, MacMillan, Prentice Hall, Linux Weekly News, Linux Today, and Linux.com will be present, among other prominent members of the Linux news and publishing scene. The BOF session will be open to the public to voice their opinions and ask questions of the participants.

The Linux Writers and Publishers BOF is scheduled for Thursday, October 14, 1999, at 5:00pm local time in the Brayton room of the Cobb Galleria convention centre in Atlanta, GA, the site of the Atlanta Linux Showcase.
