Nmap Beta 2.3 released
A new beta version of Nmap, a preferred Network Scanner among unix security enthusiasts has been released. New features include hundreds of new Operating System fingerprints (for remote OS detection) and RPC (Remote Procedure Control) scanning. An updated version of the GUI (Nmapfe, done in GTK+) has also been released with it.
