Rogue Wave Software Announces Support for Linux Operating System

Company Demonstrates Strong Commitment to Open Source Platform Across Product Line

SAN JOSE, Calif. and BOULDER, Colo., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Rogue Wave Software (Nasdaq: RWAV), a leading provider of software for creating enterprise systems with object-oriented component technology, today confirmed its position as an industry leader when the company announced at LinuxWorld Expo (Booth 413) it will support the increasingly popular open source platform Linux.

By certifying its award-winning cross-platform products on Linux, Rogue Wave has made a solid commitment to the Linux platform. The company will start by shipping versions of NobleNet RPC, Tools.h++, DBTools.h++, Standard C++ Library and Money.h++. Following these, the company will support Linux versions of additional products including Nouveau, Threads.h++ and Tools.h++ Professional.

Pricing and Availability

Support for Linux in Tools.h++, DBTools.h++, Standard C++ Library and Money.h++ will be available starting in September. In addition, support for Linux on NobleNet RPC is available immediately and support for Rogue Wave's Nouveau, Threads.h++ and Tools.h++ Professional will be available by the end of the year. Prices for the Linux platform are the same as any UNIX-based platform that Rogue Wave currently supports. In addition, support includes Web access to updates, FAQs, examples, demonstrations and other materials.
