ALS Report
I'm surrounded by beautiful women. I've got Mae Ling Mak here, and the
wonderful Cathy Raymond looking on. I love Linux shows. It's the last day, and the show floor is pretty close to being filled. The show will
officially close in about an hour and a half.

Last night was pretty insane; between the EFF dinner I didn't quite make, and the party I did attend, people are brimming with excitement. Fortunately, I got out of last night's Linux Journal party before they started with the Karaoke. I tremble with fear at just hearing about it.
I finally got to meet another guy in the Linux community named 'Emmett.' He and his purple-haired friend Caleb were very cool, and today I met the rest of Emmett's family, who were equally nifty. Speaking of families, I've noticed a lot of people here at the show who have children in strollers or slung over their shoulder. Maybe Linux will be known as the Operating System for Family Values. I doubt it.
Things are going a little crazy on the floor right now. People are running around buying their last-chance Linux stuff, and collecting last-chance Linux swag. I expect it'll all be kicked into high gear in about twenty minutes, when there is only one more hour of the show. All of a sudden it will become a twisted variant of Iron Chef, with attendees scrambling. I hope I make it out alive.
