Linux Security Week, August 21, 2000
[LS] This week, advisories for xlockmore, zope, apache-ssl, cvsweb, dhclient, perl, proftpd, and ntop were released. Of these, proftpd, dhclient and perl have root vulnerabilities. The big news in Linux this week is the LinuxWorld Expo in San Jose, CA. This year's LinuxWorld was the biggest to date and many new products were released, including the Linux Lockbox from Guardian Digital, the primary sponsors of LinuxSecurity.com.
