Linuxnewbie.Org: @HOME Cable Modem Setup for Solaris 8 (x86)
I am going to assume that you have now started your installation, have installed the base system, and have rebooted into the Solaris WebStart installation portion. Here is where the trouble begins for those of us who use the @HOME cable modem. During this portion of the install you will be prompted to select whether your computer is connected to a network or not. I have never been able to use this portion of the install, either for DHCPed or for Static.
